For this project, we worked closely with our client to replan and reimagine their office environment. Our analysis identified that the existing staff workstations -- very large cubicles -- were essentially underused and that many of the existing conference rooms cut off views and access across the floor. In addition, we had to take into account the need for the consolidation of the entire office on the north side of the building, or half the current space. In our design, we proposed a series of smaller open workstations organized around a large central flex space. Designed as open, visible and inviting, the new flex space accommodates a variety of individual and group activities and has become the new center of the office.
